Only Descript's pages list automatic captions, cutting a long video into short clips, getting the video onto platforms, the highest export resolution, AI voiceover and dubbing, and B-roll and stock footage. On generating footage with AI, Descript reads “new footage from a prompt” and Edits “animation of stills or designs”. On watermarks on exports, Descript reads “clean exports on paid plans” and Edits “clean exports, plan not stated”. On cleaning up audio and picture, Descript reads “audio and picture cleanup” and Edits “background removal or green screen”. Neither lists reframing a video to vertical.
