Rankings of short-video apps by what their pages state
Two rankings sort the register's 25 short-video apps: one by five export points, one by five points for making new footage. OpusClip, SceneMixer and Vizard share the lead on exports; Filmora, Kapwing, Pictory, Pippit and SceneMixer on new footage. As of 2026-09-25.
Each ranking holds every app in the register to the same five questions and gives one point for each that the app's own pages answer. Where a page is silent the register writes down the silence, and the table counts it as nothing.
Stating an export setting is not the same as exporting well. An app with a careful help page can outscore one that renders a sharper file and explains less, so the order is a map of what is written down. The ranking page lists its five points, how ties show and what the count cannot tell you.
Apps on one total share a place and are listed alphabetically, an order with no meaning. Below the table, the app pages behind the first places are quoted with their addresses and the day each was read.
An app is listed when its pages state at least one of the five points, and each row links the app's own site and the register page for every point it earned. No total is estimated, and nothing is carried over from one app's page to another's.
1The rankings
- Clear export settings — Five export points, from resolution to publishing, counted by what each app's own pages say about a finished reel.
- TikTok generators — Five points for an app that makes a TikTok from nothing rather than cutting one from an old video.
Rows are apps whose own pages were read; how apps were read explains what counts as stated, and the editing features hold every reading.
