Inclusion rule. An app is listed when its own pages state what the question asks. Order. Apps in alphabetical order.
Filler-word removal cuts the ums and ahs out of a transcript and the video with them. It works best on talking-head footage, where the cuts can hide behind a zoom or a cutaway.
Silence removal tightens pacing in the same way. Both change the timing of the video, so captions and music need a check afterwards.
Several other apps list audio cleanup of a different kind, noise removal rather than cuts; those are on the cleanup feature page.

2A generator upstream of the app
Upstream of an app feature like “Which apps remove filler words and silences?”, SceneMixer describes its own generation steps:
A serialized vertical-video show (typically 60–120 seconds per episode, 9:16) where the cast, scenes, and footage are AI-generated.

Typically 60–120 seconds, always 9:16 vertical, ending on a hook. SceneMixer's episode outlines are generated with that pacing, and setting a project to 9:16 makes every segment vertical (the default is 16:9).
