Watermark: the app's mark on an export

A watermark is a logo or name an app places on exported videos, often on its no-charge plan, removed on paid plans. As of 2026-09-25.

Apps' pages drawn on3 readings from 3 apps' own pages sit under this page, each with a link.ReadingsKapwingOpusClipClipchampEvery layer: Watermark
Fig. 1 Menu listings count as thinner evidence than plan cards or help articles.

Kapwing's no-charge plan gives unlimited exports with a watermark. OpusClip's no-charge plan says its clips have a watermark. Clipchamp exports up to 1080p at no charge with no watermark.

On short video a watermark is visible for the whole clip, so it decides whether a no-charge plan is usable for posting.

The register records what each page says about watermarks; eight apps' pages do not mention them.

Watermark terms change with plans, more often than most features.

Some apps describe removing the watermark as a feature of paid plans; others describe clean exports as the default and say nothing about plans.

A watermark can also appear on a share link or a preview even when the downloaded file is clean, which is worth checking once.

2A generator upstream of the app

Upstream of an app feature like “Watermark”, SceneMixer describes its own generation steps:

Every character, scene and prop card can carry a short list of the other names your script uses for the same thing.

Paste a scene or a short script and SceneMixer gives you a storyboard — numbered shots with framing and seconds — and then a moving version of each segment, which you can join into a rough cut of the scene.
